Incheon, a Splended Tourism City
The city has many events that tourists must see such as exhibitions, museum and art performances in addition to the age-old China Town for those who love real Chinese foods

Dignitaries from Korea and abroad participate in a ceremony to open Incheon World Book Capital 2015 at the Songdo Conventia in Incheon on April 23. Incheon became the third city in Asia and the first in Korea to be designed as World Book Capital by UNESCO. The event will last until April 22 2016.

Incheon Metropolitan City has many splendid tourist sites and events this year with the city having honored with being named as the capital of books by UNESCO, the 15h in the world and third in Asia this year. The city has been pursuing to make it a city for book reading, the city convenient to print books and the city that creates the values in liberal arts. Various events took place from April 22-24 such as literary discussion, events to experience,  and arts performances.

Incheon will also hold the Incheon International Transport Equipment Machinery Parts Exhibition for two days from  June 4 at the Songdo Conventia co-hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and  Incheon City. The event is an opportunity for makers of auto parts in Korea and the buyers of those parts in the auto industry around the world to meet and hold negotiations on various auto parts and on cooperation on development of parts and technology with KOTRA and the Incheon Economic and Trade Promotion Institute running the event. Some of the world renowned companies to participate include GM, Magna, Autoparts,  and other large vendors and logistics firms to meet with domestic auto parts makers and hold talks on the sales of their auto parts.

Another notable event would be the 11th President Cup 2015, an international Golf Championship scheduled to Oct. 6-Oct. 11 at the International Business District in Songdo, Incheon. It is an bi-annual event held in every two years with famous golfers around the world participating. It will be the first President Cup to be held in Asia with no prize money, but each golfer should donate his collection of funds to charitable causes.

China Town in Incheon which has many excellent Chinese restaurants is a tourist site that the tourists in Incheon must go and see. They should taste the excellent Chinese dishes prepared by the second and third generation Chinese residents in Korea to continue the Chinese tradition in Incheon.

The Songdo Central Park is another tourism facility that is a must for tourists. The Central Park with a sea in the center has been a huge tourist attraction in the park, along with the Northeast Asia Trade Center building and G Tower where  the U.N. Global Climate Fund has its offices are also a great tourist attraction in Incheon.

Tourists are also invited to tour the Incheon Metropolitan City Museum that opened in 1946, exhibiting ancient stuff left from the pre-historic period to the modern period to show the history of Incheon, the second largest harbor in Korea.
