Daewoo Engineering and Construction Co. opened a model house on April 10 for the Ahyon Prugio apartment complex, which will be built in the Bukahyon-dong, Seoul, New Town. They¡¯re slated for completion in November. The complex includes 16 apartment buildings, each 20-storeys high, with five basement floors for 940 families to live.
The company will accept applications to buy 315 apartments for now inside the complex, which is located close to the business areas in Yeouido and Gangnam Districts in Seoul. Seoul City Hall is only two subway stations away. The No. 2 and No. 5 Subway Lines pass through the area where the complex will be built, stopping at the Ahyon Station and Eedae Station on the No. 2 Subway Line and the Chungjeong Station on the No. 5 Subway Line. The Gyeongui Railroad Line also stops at Shinchon Station, including the apartment site in the Triple-Station Area.
Also closely located to the complex are Hyundai Department Store, Lotte Mart in the Seoul Rail Station and the Severance Hospital in Shinchon, Seoul, in addition to middle and high schools right by the complex.
The New Town District No. 1 and 2 is a redeveloped area with the address of 174 Bukahyon-dong, Seodaemun Ward, Seoul. The apartments will range in size from 34-59 M2 for 38 families, 34 square meters for 25 families, 44 square meters for three families, 49 square meters for a family, 53 square meters for a family and 59 square meters for 8 families, 84 square meters for 188 families, and 109 square meters for 89 families.
Early buyers of those new apartments could be lucky enough to see their apartments rise in price, as the area is being developed further and the builders plan to build more apartments, shopping malls and restaurants in the newly developed areas.
The strongest advantage of the complex is its accessibility to very important locations in Seoul, including Seoul City Hall, the Gangnam and Yeouido areas — all within the 10 km radius from the complex. The price per 3.3 sq. meters will be around 20 million won and every potential buyer can visit the model homes at 176 Bukahyon-dong, Seoul, to have a look at the model house (Phone 02-1800-0207).
The apartments with the sizes of 34, 44 and 53 square meters will be designed as the terra-house type with very good outside views, while 84 A, C and D types will be designed in 3 Bay, and 84-E type in 4 Bay with excellent sun light and winds. 109 B type will be built like a lease-type residence. Also to be built are a fitness club, golf club, CX club and other diverse athletic facilities, in addition to a library, children¡¯s playroom and a senior club, to name some community facilities.
The kitchens at those apartments include such modern cooking facilities as the Gas Cook Top with three mouths, facilities for seeping water from food and a dryer to dry washing rags. Each room has its own temperature controls so heating bills can be reduced to minimum. Also, ¡°DNA filters¡± eliminate dirt from the air and clean air circulation systems, keeping the air inside the apartments fresh and clean all the time.
Tough security systems will be installed, such as a smart door camera at the entrances of the apartments, which can take photos of persons at the door so they can be identified inside the home network. They will also be installed at basement parking lots, and CCTV will be installed at elevators, and speaker phones will also be installed in bathrooms so phone calls can be received and emergency calls be made there. Gas pipelines will be covered to prevent intruders. No cars can be parked on the grounds inside the complex. All parking is underground. There are sprinklers on all floors. There will also be electronic equipment to pinpoint where cars are parked in the basement parking lots.
