SK Securities Co. introduced the individual mobile data (PDA) securities dealing service in 2001 for the first time in the Korean securities industry, which was followed 10 years later by a mobile trading system developed with the company’s securities mobile service know-how accumulated since 2001. The system is sometimes called the gateway for securities because it monitors trading waves.
SK Securities’ main electronic waves won the Smart Finance App Grand Award two years in a row in 2011 and 2012, which was presented by KSAAI. The company also captured the Customer Service Brand Index, (CSBI). It was given out by Korea Brand Management Association, which falls under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. SK Securities also won it two years in a row — in 2013 and 2014. The company also clinched the Korea Consumer Trust Representative Brand Grand Award in 2013, making its main electronic waves the top MTS in Korea.
Such electronic waves have the function a guardian, working like a scout monitoring changes in the prices of securities and those being watched for possible purchase, trading volumes, and news on those stocks for investors. The technology won the intelligent property license in January 2012. The service has a special function, called a Stop Loss, which is to sell stocks automatically when the prices begin to fall. The service also provides the function of buying stocks automatically with the attached conditions.
The main electronic waves provides “electronic waves manager” service, which is installed on the Stock Rating System (SRS). It analyzes business firms’ values and the positions of its prices to gauge its attractiveness in view of economic conditions and general stock market trends in five sectors.
The main electronic waves also provide a segregated security protection service by setting off alarms to prevent hacking, the elimination of public certificates for lost hand phones with remote control.
The real-time hacking prevention function inform customers on their call phone when their account is being logged into and out of.
The elimination of the certificates of lost hand phones through remote control will be made upon the receipts of the reports on the lost hand phones by customers at the bank’s Customer Happy Center, removing all the data and information on those hand phones including the public certificates inside the phones through remote control.
