Korea Express Senior Executive Vice President & CEO Shin Hyun-jae appointed to lead the overall management of CJ Corp.

CJ Business Group appointed CJ Korea Express Senior Executive Vice President & CEO Shin Hyun-jae to lead the overall management of CJ Corp., the holding company of the conglomerate. Senior Executive Vice President Sohn Kwan-soo, standing advisor of CJ Korea Express, was tapped to be co-CEO of CJ Korea Express, and currently take the helm of the domestic business division of the logistics company. 

The new CJ Corp. Senior Executive Vice President in charge of overall management a graduate from Busan National University — began his career at the predecessor of Cheil Industries Inc. and moved into CJ Business Group in 2003. He held such positions as CJ Corp. overall business head, chief of CJ O Shopping Management Support Office and head of CJ Korea Express Global Division. He jointly headed CJ Korea Express in April 2013 when the logistics company was consolidated with CJ GLS. CJ Korea Express plans to hold a shareholders’ meeting and board of directors’ meeting next March to approve Senior Executive Vice President Sohn and former Hyundai Motor President Yang Seung-suk’s appointment as co-CEO of CJ Korea Express.The latest reshuffle follows former CJ Corp. Senior Executive Vice President in charge of overall management’s transfer to CJ Olive Networks President, and concurrently president of the Future Management Research Institute. The group is expected to conduct an annual groupwide reshuffle next January.   CJ Korea Express Tops Delivery Segment of KNPC Survey by KMACCJ Korea Express ranked first in the delivery segment in the survey of Korean Net Promoter Score (KNPC), which was announced on Dec. 19 by Korea Management Association Consulting (KMAC). It’s an index on what companies, their products and services do you recommend to other customers.Earlier, the company was certified with the 2014 Consumer Centric Management (CCM) Certification from Korean Consumer Agency. The certification, approved by the Korea Fair Trade Commission, is a certification of evaluating how much each company is consumer-centric. It continuously strives to improve this move. CJ Korea Express became the first Korean parcel delivery company to be certified with the CCM certification in 2012. The company won the certification for the second time.The company also topped the Korea Customer Satisfaction Index by KMAC for the sixth consecutive year and the National Brand Competitiveness Index by Korean Productivity Center (KPC) for their third straight year. “We’ve won this certifications for our efforts to offer differentiated services and communicate with customers,” said a CJ Korea Express official.
