Vice Chairman and CEO Koo Ja-kyun of LSIS Co. said he would like to convey his thanks to the members of the jury of the 39th Korea Grand Quality Award and all officers and staff of LSIS for helping him win the Presidential Citation.

He also said he would like to share the glory with the customers and cooperative firms and partners of LSIS. The company, since winning the Korea Grand Quality Award in 2006, has been working to steadily streamline its management system without letup, and made a bid to win the award again this year after winning the award seven years ago, showing that winning the award again has a bigger significance, the vice chairman said.

As Korea has become a strong country in electronics since 2002, taking over the leading position in the global electronics industry, LSIS will spare no effort to become a global electric gadget maker, breaking out of its position as a representative maker in the industry in Korea, the LSIS CEO said.

LSIS, since its launching in 1974, has been striving to give its customers more value than expected under its vision, ¡°Green Innovators of Innovation,¡± which can lead reform, and has become a representative firm in the domestic automation and power industry. Now, the company not only overcame its crisis, but opened a new age of growth and is headed in the direction of enhancing its global competitive power through profitable management activities.
