KB Kookmin Card announced on June 15 that it will introduce discounts and cashback benefits in the accommodation, flight, and transportation sectors for domestic travelers the coming summer vacation season.
First of all, KB Pay users can receive accommodation discounts until July 10.
The promotion is linked to the 2026 Korea Accommodation Sale Festa, which is organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization.
If you book a domestic accommodation product on Tripbtoz in the travel menu of KB Pay App and enter the promotion code ‘KB2026,’ an instant 10% discount will be applied if the final payment amount is 100,000 won or more.
The discount limit is 30,000 won.
In particular, for products eligible for the Accommodation Sale Festa, you can first apply the government’s accommodation discount vouchers and then receive additional discounts from KB Kookmin Card, thereby reducing the cost of travel expenses.
The Accommodation Sale Festa Summer Edition runs until July 31, targeting accommodations in 85 municipalities outside the Seoul metropolitan area showing population declines.
KB Kookmin Card prepared a discount promotion for domestic flight tickets as well.
Customers who purchase domestic flight tickets via WhyPayMore using a KB Kookmin personal credit card will be able to enjoy a billing discount of up to 8% based on their previous month’s spending. This promotion runs until June 30.
KB Kookmin Card’s check card customers will also receive various benefits. Purchasing domestic flight tickets through WebTour provides up to 10% cashback on payment amounts excluding ticketing fees.
In addition, customers who spend a combined total of 300,000 won or more using a KB Kookmin Card check card in the accommodation, railway, express bus, and intercity bus sectors will be able to receive 5% of their spending back as cashback.
This benefit is capped at 20,000 won and is available to the first 500 customers.
“We have prepared various benefits to help alleviate financial burdens on customers preparing for domestic travel during the summer,” a KB Kookmin Card official said.

Donation of Solar Lanterns to Children in Indonesia
KB Kookmin Card announced on June 5 that it will carry out the Lighting Children Social Contribution Activity for children in energy-vulnerable areas in honor of World Environment Day.
Lighting Children is a project that provides solar lanterns handcrafted by employees and customers to children in areas where electricity supply is stable.
The project will deliver 1,300 solar lanterns to children in Indonesia this coming November.
KB Kookmin Card has been carrying out this project in partnership with the Milal Welfare Foundation since 2022.
This activity has been conducted based on the voluntary participation of employees.
KB Kookmin Card is recruiting internal volunteers to carry out solar lantern production activities.
The completed lanterns will be delivered with messages of support.
Customers can take part in this program too. Last year, a lantern-making program for young customers was well-received. KB Kookmin Card will expand the scale of participation this year.
KB Kookmin Card explained that it is conducting environmental, social, and governance activities by practicing eco-friendly values through solar power and contributing to the creation of social value by supporting children overseas.
