Hanjin Business Group has established itself as a global logistics company on the occasion of its 80th anniversary, and it has renewed its resolution to make a leap forward for the upcoming centenary.

Hanjin Group held a ceremony to celebrate its 80th anniversary at Grand Hyatte Seoul on Oct. 23 ahead of the anniversary day Nov. 1, where it unveiled ¡°Group Vision 2045 vision.¡±
In his commemorative speech, Chmn. Water Cho said, ¡°The history of Hanjin Group, which started with the launch of Hanjin Sangsa (Company) in November 1945, symbolizes ¡®Korean people¡¯s march.¡¯¡±
¡°We have explored a new logistics path thanks to the founder¡¯s management tenet of ¡®contributing to the development of the nation via transportation¡¯ and the late chairmen¡¯s dedication,¡± he said.
Chmn. Cho said, ¡°We¡¯re proud that the path Hanjin Group has so far walked is the road Korea has been moving toward, and we will establish ourselves as one of the world¡¯s top integrated logistics companies, to be more loved for 100 years or more based on Hanjin Group¡¯s heritage.¡±
During the anniversary day event, Hanjin Group declared its ¡°Group Vision 2045,¡± containing new strategies for the future.
The vision ¡°Moving the World toward a Better Future by Guiding Mankind¡¯s Better Life and Sustainable Prosperity via Innovation¡± connotates its willingness to make a leap forward as a centenary company based on the past 80 years.
Announcing the vision, President Cho Hyun-min of Hanjin Transportation, said, ¡°We will grow into a company loved by the world beyond Korea by inheriting and evolving the management tenet of contributing to the development of the nation via transportation in the future.¡±
First, Hanjin Group came up with seven strategies to achieve the vision.
They include a leap into an integrated mobility company encompassing the aerospace, future mobility and e-Commerce sectors, spearheading logistics technology innovation, such as super self-driving technology based on AI, and building sustainable space logistics solutions.

Hanjin Group also announced a new corporate identity. The new CI places ¡°H¡± mark, a symbol of Hanjin Group, its English name ¡°HANJIN Group¡± and Korean Air¡¯s new CI Taeguk mark side by side.
The new CI expresses a simple and restrained air and unique identity major global companies recently pursue by reinterpreting the current mark.
