Signs a business agreement with wearable robotics company Angel Robotics to jointly discover future strategic industries through the convergence of robotics and finance

Hana Financial Group announced on Sept. 19 that it signed a business agreement with the Autism Society of Korea to laying the foundation for stable social integration and independence for people with autism. 

Autism is a type of developmental disability that causes difficulties in social interaction and communication. For people with autism to successfully participate in society, specialized care and support are necessary.

Through this agreement, Hana Financial Group will implement various initiatives to help people with autism become healthy members of society. 

These initiatives include supporting job creation for young people with autism, providing customized trust services for safe financial management, supporting the cultural and artistic activities of artists with autism and sponsoring campaigns to raise people¡¯s awareness of disabilities. 

First of all, Hana Financial Group will renovate its idle space into a cafe, providing quality jobs to aspiring autistic individuals. By hiring young people with autism who aspire to become professional baristas and providing them with stable and sustainable employment, Hana Financial Group will actively support them in achieving their dreams.

Furthermore, Hana Financial Group will offer a unique trust service to help people with autism effectively manage their living expenses, including food, housing, and medical expenses. 

Hana Bank launched its own testamentary trust brand, ¡°Hana Living Trust,¡± in 2010 and is leading the market. 

The bank plans to support stable financial management for individuals with disabilities by leveraging its testamentary trusts and guardianship trusts. 

In particular, Hana Bank anticipates addressing the most pressing concerns of parents of individuals with disabilities by offering customized trust products tailored to individual circumstances to support the sustainable economic activities of individuals with disabilities even after the death of their parents.

Furthermore, to support the creative activities of artists with autism, Hana Bank will provide free exhibition space at H.art, an open storage facility operated by Hana Bank, and will also host barrier-free concerts to improve accessibility to culture and the arts for individuals with disabilities. 

To improve social awareness of autism, Hana Financial Group will continue employee participation and support for the ¡°Autism Race,¡± a running campaign organized by the Autism Society of Korea and officially sponsored by Hana Financial Group for five consecutive years since 2020.

Partnership with Angel Robotics

Hana Financial Group announced on Sept. 11 that it has signed a business agreement with wearable robotics company Angel Robotics to jointly discover future strategic industries through the convergence of robotics and finance in order to expand productive finance. 

The agreement aims to achieve the core goal of creating social value and positive economic results by combining Hana Financial Group¡¯s financial network with Angel Robotics¡¯ innovative robotics technology.

Through this agreement, Hana Financial Group will actively implement productive finance by providing financial infrastructure that supports the growth of innovative companies. 

Furthermore, it will actively support Angel Robotics¡¯ market expansion based on its next-generation wearable robot technology.

Through this agreement, Hana Financial Group and Angel Robotics will create social value through ESG collaboration, provide customized healthcare packages and differentiated customer experiences for seniors, collaborate globally on senior-friendly industries and provide financial support for the purchase of wearable robots. 

They plan to collaborate in four key strategic areas, including the development of related financial products, to target key markets in Korea¡¯s super-aging society.
