Hana Bank announced on Aug. 29 that it has established the Dementia Care Financial Center to support customers with dementia.
The bank plans to provide specialized consulting at the financial sector¡¯s first Dementia Care Financial Center, ensuring peace of mind for both dementia patients and their loved ones.
Specialized consultants will be assigned to the Dementia Care Financial Center. Services include designing dementia care trusts and utilizing voluntary guardianship systems before a dementia diagnosis.
After the dementia diagnosis, the center will support the implementation of adult guardianship systems and provide lifestyle support for families including care, nursing, and caregiving.
This offers comprehensive dementia care solutions tailored to each stage of the disease.
Hana Bank has strengthened reliability and expertise by collaborating with external specialized institutions, such as the Korean Guardianship Association and the Onryul Foundation.

The Korea Guardianship Association operates programs for training and educating public guardians.
The Onryul Foundation is a nonprofit corporation specializing in public guardianship support for socially vulnerable groups including dementia patients, minors, and persons with disabilities.
All Private Bankers (PBs) at Hana Bank have completed a dementia partner training course at the National Institute of Dementia.
This is aimed at creating an environment where Hana Bank customers and their families can consult about dementia-related concerns with peace of mind.
Dementia-related consultations through the Dementia Care Financial Center are available free of charge to anyone, regardless of whether they are Hana Bank customers or not.
Consultation appointments can be made at Hana Bank branches, Hana The Next Lounge and Hana 1Q among other locations.
Mobile Pension Dream Lounge
On Aug. 28, Hana Bank announced the launch of Mobile Pension Dream Lounge, a service that directly visits retired pension customers residing in remote areas who find it difficult to visit bank branches.
Mobile Pension Dream Lounge is a mobile retirement pension consultation channel. It implements Pension Dream Lounge — a specialized in-person consultation channel for Hana Bank retirement pension customers — in a dedicated vehicle.
It directly visits customers located far away to provide customized pension asset management services.
At Mobile Pension Dream Lounge, Hana Bank¡¯s pension consultants visit customers directly at their preferred time and location by using the dedicated consultation vehicle.
Customers can receive the same retirement planning services offered at existing Pension Dream Lounge. Its services include pension product management history diagnoses, pension product portfolio consultations and pension management consulting.
Specifically, for corporate employees and others who find it difficult to visit branches in person due to remote locations, or companies situated far from urban centers, making access to face-to-face consultation channels difficult, Hana Bank will support nationwide operations alongside monthly booth installations once or twice a month) and mobile pension seminars for financial education.

Retirement Pension Management Seminar
Hana Bank announced that it held Retirement Pension Asset Management Seminar at its headquarters in Eulji-ro, Seoul on Sept. 4, inviting approximately 200 retirement pension customers.
This seminar, designed to support stable asset management for the ¡°new senior¡± generation, those in their 50s and 60s, facing retirement amid rapidly changing financial environments, featured practical, customized pension asset management programs including portfolio-based pension asset management strategies, tax-saving methods utilizing pension accounts, an introduction to the specialized in-person consultation channel ¡°Pension Dream Lounge¡± and one-on-one individual consultations with experts.
Notably, the seminar adopted a lunch seminar form, held during lunchtime to allow customers to attend without disruption to their busy schedules.
Immediately following the seminar, attendees were offered one-on-one consultations with tax accountants and IRP experts from the Pension Business Division, showing strong positive responses.
