Korea Credit Guarantee Fund (KODIT) announced on Sept. 10 that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) on Sept. 9 to develop credit guarantee systems and support companies¡¯ growth in both countries. It also held a working-level meeting on Sept. 9 and 10.

With 16 regional headquarters in Poland and three overseas representative offices (Brussels, Frankfurt, and Kyiv), it oversees all aspects of policy financing, including SME guarantees, infrastructure development and renewable energy investment and export financing.
Through this MOU, the two organizations will strengthen cooperation in areas such as sharing guarantee systems and know-how to support SMEs, establishing permanent working-level consultation meetings and promoting personnel exchanges, and conducting academic research on innovative financial systems.
During the subsequent working-level meeting, the two organizations shared examples of customized guarantee support for innovative SMEs across their life cycles and discussed in-depth measures to implement special systems to address complex crises such as US tariffs.
