KB Kookmin Card announced on Aug. 20 that it will provide card payment services for Peugeot vehicles under Stellantis Korea.
“Through a partnership with NHN KCP, which has been selected as Peugeot’s official payment partner, customers who want to have Peugeot models will now be able to pay not only their down payment, but also their balance with KB credit cards and debit cards,” a KB Kookmin Card official explained.
This service will initially be available for smart hybrid models, such as the Peugeot 408 Smart Hybrid, the 308 Smart Hybrid and the All-New 3008 Smart Hybrid.
It will apply to all models sold at 13 Peugeot showrooms across South Korea.

KB Kookmin Card has prepared various benefits for new Peugeot buyers. As of August, customers who apply for the promotion through KB Pay and make a lump sum payment of 5 million won or more will receive up to 1% cash back or a bill discount.
There is no limit. KB Check Card users can also receive 0.5% cash back when paying the same amount or more.
Special interest rate benefits are available for KB Kookmin Card installment payment service users.
If you apply for the promotion and use installment payment services, as of August, a differentiated interest rate will be applied depending on the number of installment service months, up to a maximum limit of 50 million won.
Installments services for 3 and 6 months will be charged at 3.0% per annum, 12 months at 3.5% per annum, and 24 to 60 months at 3.7% per annum. There will be no early repayment fee.
Details about the promotion can be found on KB Pay App. Various new car-related financial services, including limit increases, can be accessed through the “Car Finance” menu on the app.
Free Coffee Coupons for Customers who Paid College Tuition Fees
KB Kookmin Card announced on Aug. 19 that it will hold a promotion to provide Starbucks coffee coupons to customers who paid their college tuition fees.
The promotion will run until Sept. 30. After applying for the promotion, customers who pay 2 million won or more in college tuition fees at 57 colleges and universities nationwide using a KB Kookmin credit card (excluding BC, check, corporate, and prepaid cards) will receive two Starbucks Americano mobile coupons.
Through a KB Pay App promotion page titled “Did you pay your college tuition fees? Get a Starbucks coupon!,” customers check eligible colleges and universities and make payments in one go, and will be able to enjoy interest-free installment plans for 2 to 6 months and partial interest-free installment plans for 12 months.
In addition, until Aug. 31, interest-free and partial interest-free installment benefits are available when using installments of 50,000 won or more at 40 daily convenience businesses.
When seeing a doctor, they will be able to enjoy interest-free installment payment services of up to 2 to 7 months and partial interest-free installment payment services of 10 or 12 months when paying 1 million won or more with KB Kookmin credit cards.
When using installment payment of 50,000 won or more at e-commerce sites, department stores, airlines, duty-free shops, etc., customers will be able to enjoy 2 to 5 months of interest-free installment payments or 6 and 10 months of partial interest-free installment payments.
Green Jacket Caddy Fee Discount
KB Kookmin Card announced in a press release on Aug. 19 that it will hold an event until December 31 where customers who pay 30,000 won or more for caddy fees at 80 golf courses in Korea affiliated with Green Jacket using a KB Kookmin Card (excluding corporate credit cards, BC credit cards, prepaid cards, Pointree, and KB Pay Money) will receive an instant discount of 10,000 won.
When a team of four people enjoy playing golf, they can share 150,000 won for caddy fees. Therefore, each team can receive an immediate discount of up to 40,000 won.
The immediate discount promotion is available on a first-come, first-served basis to 500 people per month, though only for 200 people in August.
