Lotte Chemical, Lotte Energy Materials, Lotte Infracell and other chemical business division companies of Lotte Group are participating in InterBattery 2025, the nation¡¯s largest battery exhibition, with a 180 square meter pavilion.
InterBattery 2025, taking place at COEX in Seoul from March 5 to March 7, is attracting 688 Korean and foreign companies related to the battery industry.
Lotte Group¡¯s chemical business units demonstrated their battery value chains and core technologies via a media structure under the theme ¡°Journey to the Future.¡±
At the Battery Material Solutions Zone, Lotte Chemical, Lotte Energy Materials and Lotte Infracell all introduced the four core materials for lithium-ion batteries the companies produce.
Spectators at the exhibition zone are given the chance to look at expanded core battery material value chains by displaying separator materials, electrolyte solvents and primer-coating, produced by Lotte Chemical, high-strength, high-elongation, high-end copper foil and lithium-ion battery cathode active LFG, produced by Lotte Energy Materials, and high-quality aluminum foil and cell pouch film, produced by Lotte Infracell.

Among the exhibits on display at the EV Platform Solution Zone are high-functional products based on specialty material production technologies of Lotte Group¡¯s chemical business units.
Visitors at the zone can look at battery housing materials for maintaining the safety of batteries due to excellent heat proof and durability, and light and strong high-functional plastic materials employing diverse colors and textures for EVs¡¯ emotional design.
Among the items on display at the zone are electrolytes used for vanadium ion battery (VIB), designed to block the danger of fire due to the solvent made with water.
The Next Generation Technologies Zone exhibits next-generation battery technologies and materials with high performance and enhanced safety, to be produced by Lotte¡¯s chemical business units.
At the zone, Lotte Chemical showcases solid electrolytes and solid-state battery separator coating material technologies, developed by the company and secondary battery current collector.
Among the exhibits on display at the zone are next-generation battery materials, such as sulfide solid electrolyte, developed by Lotte Energy Materials and related sulfide nickel plating coffer foil and hyper very low profile (HVLP) copper foil, newly developed for AI accelerators.
Lotte¡¯s chemical business units plans to grow into a battery material companies, creating a new future based on forthcoming next-generation technology power on top of lithium-ion battery core materials.
The specialty technology power the units have so far accumulated has expanded high-functional materials related to batteries.
