The bank¡¯s vision announcement ceremony was held at the headquarters in Songpa-gu, Seoul on Jan. 13.

Suhyup Bank¡¯s new vision reflects the bank¡¯s commitment to becoming a financial institution that provides a full range of financial services beyond banking, and a reliable financial partner that grows with customers.

¡°In order to achieve this vision, all Suhyup Bank employees must practice the five core management points with one heart and one mind and move forward to a new future through change,¡± Shin said.

The five core management points are substantial management to strengthen the bank¡¯s basic physical strength; value management to fulfill social responsibilities; future management to leap into a new future; differentiation management to secure unrivaled competitiveness; and trust management based on a healthy organizational culture.

¡°This year¡¯s management goal is to become a reliable financial partner that achieves stable profits of more than 300 billion won,¡± Shin said, presenting the catchphrase, ¡°Turning Point 2025! Jump Up 3150!¡± as a way to achieve this goal.

¡°With the attitude of not wavering in the face of any changes and challenges, Suhyup Bank will grow into a financial company that the Korean people needs and grow into Korea¡¯s leading marine and fisheries bank that provides more strength to fishermen and fisheries.¡±

Creating Safe Society for Children with Korea Ocean Business Corporation

Suhyup Bank announced on Jan. 16 that it has partnered with Korea Ocean Business Corporation (KOBC) to support the Busan Children¡¯s School Zone Improvement Project.

The two organizations jointly contributed a total of 100 million won to support the project to create a safe society for children by improving school routes.

A ceremony was held on Jan. 16 to deliver the funds to Yongdang Elementary School in Busan.

School roads near Yongdang Elementary School were selected as an area in urgent need of improvement, due to its proximity to Busan Port facilities and frequent passage of large trucks, raising concerns about the safety of children¡¯s commute to school.

Yongdang Elementary School, which received the funds, will work with the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education to expand school route safety infrastructure.

¡°I think that children¡¯s school roads are more than just roads, but the starting point for children¡¯s dreams and hopes,¡± Shin said.

¡°With the idea that reducing the risk of car accidents and providing a safer school environment for children is the cornerstone of creating a bigger future for tomorrow, Suhyup Bank will continue to strive to enhance social values in various fields.¡±
