NongHyup Bank announced that it held the 2024 Digital Finance Innovation Awards at the headquarters of NongHyup Bank in Jung-gu, Seoul on Nov. 28.
The Digital Finance Innovation Awards recognizes outstanding digital finance performance.
This year marked its fifth year. It aims to promote voluntary digital transformation and spread a culture of innovation.
The program has developed into a venue for fostering excellent digital talents.
This time, prizes went to the development of a machine learning-based credit rating model, the establishment of a smart collaboration system and an AI-powered product recommendation service in the fields of digital innovation, platform innovation, and process innovation.
In particular, the AI-powered product recommendation service is applied to NH All One Bank, NH Smart Banking, and marketing hubs of branches.
It recommends the most suitable financial products after comprehensively considering each customer’s interest, interest rates and assets.
It is characterized by providing reasons for recommending financial products to boost customer satisfaction.

Excellence Prize at Pseudonymous Data Utilization Contest
NongHyup Bank announced on Nov. 24 that it won the Excellence Award for a proposal to analyze local commercial districts based on pseudonymous data to reduce the closure of small businesses at an award ceremony for the 2024 Pseudonymous Data Utilization Contest on Nov. 22.
The 2024 Pseudonymous Data Utilization Contest aimed to create a data innovation ecosystem.
Pseudonymous data refers to information that cannot recognize a specific individual without additional information through pseudonymization such as deleting or replacing part or all of personal information.
NongHyup Bank conducted a study for the proposal by combining its own financial data, CB data from NICE Information Service and telecommunication data from LGU+ as the closure of small businesses emerged as a serious social problem.
The study analyzed commercial districts by region using five indicators - growth potential, operational stability, sales deviation, purchasing power and customer inflow.
In addition, the study approached the issue of business closures by small business owners from various angles including checking the soundness of assets such as individual business loans and delinquency rates by region.
NH All One Bank Year-End Customer Appreciation Event
NongHyup Bank, which is led by President Lee Seok-yong, announced on Dec. 3 that it will hold the All-One Year-End Customer Appreciation Festival on NH All-One Bank, the most representative platform of NongHyup Financial Group until Dec. 22 to reward customers for their support for NongHyup Bank at the end of the year.
For this event, customers can choose their favorite prizes from the list of prizes on the NH All One Bank event page.
A total of 1,139 winners will be selected to receive a wide array of prizes including necklaces, hand cream, coffee and fried chicken.
