The Seoul Tourism Organization (STO) successfully wrapped up ¡°Seoul My Soul in Taipei,¡± a Seoul tourism promotion event at Taipei 101 MRT Station Square, a representative tourist attraction in Taipei, Taiwan, on Nov. 9 and 10. 

Held at the plaza of Taipei 101, one of the main symbols of Taipei, and the 11th tallest building in the world, the promotion event drew approximately 5,000 Taipei residents on the two days.

Under the main theme of Seoul¡¯s representative landmark, the Han River, the event offered various programs for Taiwanese citizens to feel and experience Seoul. In particular, a photo zone aimed at the MZ generation in Taiwan attracted a lot of attention from participants. 

At the SEOULDAL Photo Zone, visitors enjoyed taking photos while they felt as if they were actually on Seoul¡¯s newest night tourism landmark, SEOULDAL, which opened in 2024.

The Feel Soul Good Challenge Zone, where visitors could take Polaroid photos with Seoul¡¯s honorary tourism ambassador, BTS¡¯s Jin, also received good responses from locals. 




STO wrapped up Seoul My Soul in Taipei successfully with about 5,000 visitors at Taipei 101 MRT Station Square in Taipei of Taiwan on Nov. 9 and 10. 


In addition, the STO ran an experience program, where visitors could enjoy Seoul¡¯s various attractions and receive souvenirs through various missions, such as finding Surprise Tickets and experiencing a bike-sharing program in Seoul.

In the ¡°Immerse Yourself in the Han River program,¡± visitors were asked to find Surprise Tickets in a ball pool with the motif of the Moonlight Rainbow Fountain at Banpo Bridge in Seoul. 

The program was especially popular among visitors as they could receive Discover Seoul Passes, a tourist pass that can be used in Seoul. 


Participation in Korea MICE Expo with 37 Seoul MICE Alliance Companies 

The STO participated in the Korea MICE Expo 2024, the largest MICE exhibition in Korea, held in Songdo, Incheon, from Nov. 6 to 8, to promote Seoul¡¯s MICE industry for the 3377 Seoul Tourism Vision.

The Korea MICE Expo is Korea¡¯s largest specialized MICE exhibition with 150 buyers from around the world and 350 booths of exhibitors from 250 companies, attracting a total of 3,000 participants for business consultations and exchanges.

The STO and 37 members of the Seoul MICE Alliance (SMA) jointly ran the Seoul Promotion Center to attract and develop new MICE events. 

The STO carried out joint marketing activities with 37 members of the Seoul MICE Alliance (SMA) — eight hotels, two unique venues, seven PCOs, 12 travel agencies, two transportation companies, two service providers, three entertainment companies and one sightseeing and shopping company.


Fam Tour for Travel Agencies in 7 Countries 

The STO held the 2024 Seoul Education Travel FAM Tour for four days from Nov. 12 to 15th. 

The tour was organized to attract more international students to Seoul in response to the growing demand for educational travel around the world. 

The tour was attended by 13 travel agencies from seven countries — Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, the United Kingdom, and the United States which have high demand for educational travel. All of them are specialized travel agencies that send various types of educational tourists abroad including elementary, middle and high school and college students, and international students.
