SK ecoplant Sells Busan ‘Centumpark SK View’

SK ecoplant is opening a model house for “Centumpark SK View,” an apartment complex to be sold in Yeonjae-gu, Busan, the company said on Oct. 11.

The Centumpark SK View will have three apartment buildings each with two basement floors and 29 floors above the ground.

There will be 309 units in total on top of adjacent living facilities.

The apartment complex will consist of small- and medium-size apartments, favored by people - 114 units each with 74 sq. meters in floor space; 114 A-type units each with 84 sq. meters in floor space; and 85 B-type units each with 84 sq. meters.

The apartment complex will have all units with a four-bay structure, mostly facing south and east. About 65 percent of the apartment households can view the Suyeong River.

In particular, B-type apartments each with 84 sq. meters in floor space will be designed with special features characterized with three-side opening, which will maximize the view of the river.

The complex will be outfitted with diverse community life facilities, such as a fitness center, an indoor golf range, a kids’ lounge, a kids’ station, a children’s house, and a reading room.

Yeonsan-dong, in which the apartment complex will be built, is adjacent to Centum City, a well-to-do residential area, which boasts of rich living and culture infrastructure, such as BEXCO, Shinsegae Centum City Branch, Lotte Department Store and Gwangan Grand Bridge. E-Mart Traders will be located just beside the apartment complex, and Costco and Homeplus are also located within a radius of 2 km.

It will be easily accessible to public offices, such as Busan Yeonjae Police Station, Busan District Court and Prosecutors’ Office Dongbu Branch.

The apartment complex also boasts of rich neighborhood green areas, such as Suyeong Environment Park, Suyeong River and Suyeong River walking path.

The apartment complex has good transportation conditions as it is near Jasuyeong-ro, Beonyeong-ro, Suyeong Riverside Road, and Wondong Interchange, easily accessible to Busan’s major areas as well as Centum City and Haeundaero.

It boasts of fantastic educational options. It has Gwajeong Primary School just beside the apartment complex, while Tohyeon Middle School, Anrak Middle School, Yeoncheon Middle School and Busan Foreign High School are located with a radius of 1 km from the apartment complex.

The apartment complex is easily accessible from Busan Gyeongsang College, Busan Metropolitan City Yeonsan Library and the privately-run educational institute street in Centum City.

SK ecoplant Holds the 2024 ConTech Meet-Up Day Awards

SK ecoplant held the 2024 ConTech Meet-Up Day Awards at Grand Walker Hill Hotel, the company said on Nov. 8.

ConTech Meet-Up Day is an open innovation technology contest SK ecoplant has implemented to explore Korean SMEs and startups with innovative technologies, and support their commercialization and R&D.

2024 ConTech Meet-Up Day was the fifth rendition since it made its debut in 2020.

Public organizations, academic and investment institutions, including Korea Innovation Foundation under the umbrella of the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT), Seoul National University and Korea International Trade Association joined forces to host the event.

Subsidiaries of SK ecoplant, such as SK oceanplant and Renuers will be engaged in joint R&D with award winning companies.

The latest contest attracted 87 entry technologies in the semiconductor, environment, energy and smart construction fields.

Four technologies — three in the semiconductor sector and one in the environment field — were selected as finalists in consideration of innovation, commercialization and joint R&D possibility of the entry technologies.
