On Oct. 28, Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced that it will introduce the MyMy Service, which significantly reduces the number of documents to be submitted when applying for rental houses after a tentative operation.
The MyMy Service refers to My information! My home! Service.
The MyMy service is a non-face-to-face online rental house supply service utilizing the Ministry of the Interior and Safety¡¯s Public MyData.
When applying for rental houses, users can complete required document submission by handing in a request to provide personal information, without having to go to each government agency to obtain documents.
After LH completed the verification of the MyMy Service¡¯s safety through the tentative operation, it expanded and reorganized the service by adding eight kinds of personal information documents, such as family relationship certificates, to 33 original kinds so a user will be able to submit a total of 41 kinds of documents at once.
In addition, not only applicants but household members living together with them under the same residence registration can submit various documents through the Request to Provide Public MyData.
The MyMy Service will be available from Oct. 28th for applications for Happy Housing, purchases and leases, permanent leases, and low-cost lease types. People can use this service not only for new contracts but for resupply and reserve contracts.
The service will cover more kinds of housing contracts after the completion of a system and a tentative project next year.
¡°The MyMy Service is expected to remove hassles and inconvenience in applying for rental housing,¡± an LH official said. ¡°It will also significantly increase the speed and convenience of LH¡¯s work.¡±
Sharing ¡®My Home Search¡¯ with 4 State-Run Regional Corporations
LH will provide a wide range of information about real estate under the jurisdiction of local state-run corporation - Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation, Gyeongsangbuk-do Development Corporation, Gwangju Metropolitan City Corporation and Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Development Co. - through LH¡¯s spatial information platform ¡°My Home Search¡± beginning from Nov. 5.
My Home Search is a platform that provides various real estate information such as public housing supply plans and land and commercial building sales on a map in an easy-to-understand manner for the next 10 years. It has run since 2019.
My Home Search provides information on new urban business districts, public houses being promoted across the country, lots being sold through private contracts and commercial building sales and has statistical functions.
The service is utilized by more than 300,000 people a year.
The expansion of the platform¡¯s functions is in line with the government¡¯s digital platform policy to prevent public sector investments from being overlapped and provide integrated real estate information customized for the people.
Creating High-Tech Industry Ecosystem with KDB
LH has partnered with KDB to create a high-tech ecosystem in a virtuous cycle by providing stable project financing for industrial complexes and customized policy financing for tenant companies.
The company announced on Nov. 1 that it signed a financial win-win growth business agreement with Korea Development Bank (KDB) at DoubleTree by Hilton Seoul Pangyo to increase the competitiveness of national advanced industrial complexes.
The agreement aims to support the timely establishment of national advanced industrial complexes being promoted as a key government goal, and the stable and early establishment of tenant companies to help them secure super-wide gaps in high-tech industries such as semiconductors and secondary batteries.
Through the agreement, LH and KDB will cooperate with each other to provide timely procurement of project costs necessary for the creation of national high-tech industrial complexes through bond securitization of debts from borrowing money for purchase of sites at industrial complexes and one-stop customized policy financing and service support for tenant companies.
Through this, LH will stably secure project costs for rapid business promotion by introducing a securitization method for debts from borrowing money for purchase of sites at industrial complexes for the first time.
