Shinhan Card announced on Oct. 1 that it is running the “Every Day is a Birthday, Great Prizes and Benefits!” Event until the end of October to celebrate its 17th anniversary, offering Shinhan SOL Pay users a wealth of benefits such as prizes and points.
The event consists of four subordinated events — “Congratulatory Message,” where customers can win prizes by guessing what anniversary this year’s anniversary is, and selecting gifts of their choice; “Receiving and Spending,” where customers can set their own spending goals and receive extra spending money if they attain the goals; “Quiz Pang Pang,” where customers can earn up to 17 points every day by taking quizzes; and “Pay Pang Pang,” which provides points for every payment made with Shinhan SOL Pay.
For the congratulatory message event, participants need to guess which anniversary Shinhan Card celebrates this year on Shinhan SOL Pay, and then select the prize they want to receive among gold bars, Shinsegae Gift Certificates or My Shinhan Points.
A total of 17,503 people will be awarded gold bars, 50,000-won Shinsegae Gift Certificates or 1,700 My Shinhan points.
Receiving and Spending is an event where customers can set target amounts on their own and when they reach the targets, they get back the amount they spent.
Shinhan Card offers a variety of benefits, including prizes and points for Shinhan SOL Pay customers in honor of its anniversary.
This event is designed to provide more special benefits to customers valuing well planned spending. To celebrate its 17th anniversary, a total of 17 customers will be selected to receive up to 10 million won per person.
Quiz Pang Pang, Shinhan SOL Pay’s signature point-providing event, will run in a special accumulation period until Oct. 7.
Normally, you can earn 5 points for answering a quiz, but during this special saving period, you can earn up to 17 points every day.
In addition, points will be given for every payment made with Shinhan SOL Pay through the Pay Pang Pang Event. On Oct. 1, the anniversary day, customers will give 10x points for online and offline payments of 50,000 won or more with Shinhan SOL Pay at all Shinhan Card merchants.
From the 3rd to the 9th, Shinhan SOL Pay users will earn an additional 1,700 points for online payments of 50,000 won or more at 11ST, Gmarket and SSG.com.
In addition, every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in October, 500 points will be awarded for every offline payment of 10,000 won or more made with Shinhan SOL Pay at convenience stores nationwide.
Shinhan SOL Pay also offers 1,000 points for every offline payment of 10,000 won or more made with Shinhan SOL Pay at Good Price Stores.
Good Price Stores are selected by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and local governments to stabilize prices. Good Price Stores offer reasonably priced high-quality services.
Marriott Bonvoy Membership Sign-up Event
Shinhan Card announced on Sept. 30 that it will hold an event to give away 5,000 My Shinhan points to new members of Marriott Bonvoy, Marriott International’s loyalty program, until the end of October.
Marriott Bonvoy is a hotel loyalty program that allows members to earn rewards at more than 30 hotel brands in more than 10,000 locations worldwide under the global hotel chain Marriott International.
Members can join the program for free and upgrade their status by earning credits for stays at hotels, which can lead to a variety of benefits including bonus points on stays, room upgrades, early check-ins and late check-outs, complimentary breakfasts and more.
For all Shinhan Card customers, Shinhan Card will offer 5,000 My Shinhan points for new sign-ups for Marriott Bonvoy memberships.
Customers can apply on the Shinhan Card event page until Oct. 31, and then enter their names, email addresses and mobile phone numbers, and sign up for the membership. My Shinhan points will be awarded in December.
